SEC. 16. And be it enacted, That sections one
hundred and forty-seven, one hundred and forty-
eight, one hundred and forty-nine, one hundred
and fifty, one hundred and fifty-one, one hundred
and fifty-two, one hundred and fifty-three, one
hundred and fifty-four, one hundred and fifty-five,
one hundred and fifty-six, one hundred and fifty-
seven, one hundred and fifty-eight, one hundred
and fifty-nine, one hundred and sixty, one hundred
and sixty-one, one hundred and sixty-two, one
hundred and sixty-three, one hundred and sixty-
four, one hundred and sixty-five, one hundred and
sixty-six, one hundred and sixty-seven, one hun-
dred and sixty-eight and one hundred sixty-nine,
of article first of the Public Local Laws, relating
to Allegany county, be and the same are hereby
repealed, and this act substituted therefor.

AN ACT to provide for building a bridge, at
Woodstock, over the Patapsco River.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That from and after the passage of
this act, the county commissioners of Baltimore
county and the county commissioners of Howard
county, be and they are hereby authorised, in their
discretion., to levy on the assessable property of
their respective counties a sufficient sum of money
to build a substantial bridge over the Patapsco falls,
at Woodstock.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the
duty of the county commissioners of Baltimore
county and the county commissioners of Howard
county to adopt a plan according to which said
bridge shall be constructed, if they deem it neces-
sary, and of such materials as they may think best,
of which due notice shall be given in one or more
newspapers in each county, for the space of two
