CHAP. 333.

AN ACT appropriating a sum of money for the
payment of the claims of Dennis H. Maynard,
Thomas J. Keating, Joseph H. Skinner, John
Schofield, S. E. Sullivan, Edwin W. Duvall, N.
I. Worthington, George Button, Samuel S. Riley,
N. Brewer, the Annapolis Gas Light Company,
Thomas Ireland and George Jacobi.

9, 1860.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the sum of thirteen hundred
and forty-five dollars and sixty cents, be and the
same is hereby appropriated for the payment of the
claims of Dennis H. Maynard for expenses incurred
and services rendered by direction of the Governor
in the case of Myers charged with kidnapping, for
the payment of Thomas Keating for advertising
Brigade and Military orders, for the payment of Jo-
seph H. Skinner for work done and materials for
use of the Senate chamber, for the payment of John
Schofield for advertising unpatented lands in How-
ard county, for the payment of S. E. Sullivan for
advertising unpatented lands in Queen Anne's
county, for the payment of Edwin W. Duvall, late
sheriff of Anne Arundel county, for fees due him by
the State, for the payment of N. I. Worthington,
late sheriff of Anne Arundel county, for fees due
him by the State in the case of the State vs. Thom-
as I. Tongue, for the payment of George H. Dutton,
sheriff of Baltimore city, for making statement and
reporting in pursuance of an order of the House of
Delegates, for the payment of Samuel S. Riley for
repairing the State Fire Engine, for the payment
of N. Brewer for ice furnished during the present
session of the Legislature, for the payment of the
Annapolis Gas Light Company for gas furnished
during the present session of the Legislature from
February 1st to March 10th, for the payment of Geo.
Jacobi for work done and materials furnished the
room of the Court of Appeals, and for the payment
of Thomas Ireland for fees due him by the State.

Appropria-
tion.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer on
the warrant of the Comptroller, be and he is here-
by authorised and directed to pay to Dennis H.
Maynard one hundred and fifty dollars and seven
cents, to pay to Thomas J. Keating fifteen dollars
