AN ACT to make valid the qualification of Levi
Rice, one of the Commissioners elected at the late
Election in Allegany county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the qualification of Levi Rice
one of the County Commissioners of Allegany coun-
ty, elected at the late election, be and the same is
hereby legalized and declared as valid and effective,
as if he had taken the oath of office and qualified
within the time required by the act of Assembly
passed at the January session for the year eighteen
hundred and fifty-two, chapter one hundred and
seventy-two.

CHAPTER 4.
WHEREAS, By an act passed on the sixth of March
of the January session of eighteen hundred and
fifty-eight, chapter four hundred and eighteen,
entitled an act to authorise the Commissioners
for Montgomery county to levy the sum of one
hundred and ninety-seven dollars for the use of
George P. Atwood; and whereas, There was due
to the said George P. Atwood at that time, seven
years and six months interest, which was neg-
lected to be incorporated in said bill: Therefore,
