CHAP. 325.
|
not more than ten thousand dollars, the sum of
one hundred and twenty dollars.
SEC. 8. If more than ten thousand dollars, and
not more than twenty thousand dollars, the sum of
one hundred and thirty dollars.
SEC. 9. If more than twenty thousand dollars,
and not more than thirty thousand dollars, the
sum of one hundred and forty dollars.
SEC. 10. If more than thirty thousand dollars,
then the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars shall
be demanded and received by said clerk before
granting to the applicant the license applied for.

Liquors, less
than a pint.
|
SEC. 11. No license shall be granted to sell
spirituous and fermented liquors or lager beer in
quantities not less than a pint, for the sum of eigh-
teen dollars, unless the person applying therefor
shall also obtain a license to sell goods, chattels,
wares and merchandise, paying therefor the sum
hereinbefore prescribed, according to the amount of
his stock in trade.

Repealed.
|
SEC. 12. And be it further enacted, That the eigh-
ty-sixth, eighty-seventh, eighty-eighth, eighty-
ninth, ninety, ninety-first, ninety-second, ninety-
third, ninety-fourth, and ninety-ninth sections of
article fifty-five of the code of public general laws,
relating to licenses to oyster and eating houses,
ordinary keepers, are hereby repealed with the fol-
lowing sections enacted as a substitute therefor:

SEC. 18. And upon such application, the said
applicant shall pay to the clerk of the Circuit court
of the county where he resides, or if said applicant
shall reside in the city of Baltimore, then to the
clerk of the court of Common Pleas, the sum of
fifty dollars for each and every such license.

In force.
|
SEC. 14. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the first day of May next
|
