CHAP. 315.

their present bounds and limits, and all elections
for public officers shall be held in each, of the said
districts at the places now or hereafter established
by or in pursuance of any act of Assembly passed
for that purpose.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

AN ACT to amend article four of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, by adding thereto the following
new section relating to the crier of the Superior
court for Baltimore city:

Section added
to article 4.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That article four of the Code of Public Local Laws,
shall be and the same is hereby amended, by add-
ing thereto the following new section, relating to
the crier of the Superior court for Baltimore city.

Per diem of
the crier.

SECTION. 1. The judge of the Superior court may
allow and direct to be taxed to the crier of said
court, while sitting as a court of equity, such a per
diem as said judge may deem proper and reason-
able.

In force.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
