AN ACT entitled; an Act to amend the twelfth
Article of the Code of Public Local Laws by
adding thereto a new section changing and de-
fining the bounds of Election District Number
One of Howard County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the following shall hereafter be
the bounds of election district number one in How-
ard county, to wit: Beginning at a point where
the old Annapolis road crosses the Columbia turn-
pike road, and following the said old Annapolis
road until it reaches a point at or near George
Stocket's house; then by a road leading from the
said old Annapolis road through the lands of Wil-
liam J. Timanus and Ashbury Fisher, until it in-
tersects the county road from Hillen to Elk Ridge
Landing, and then following the lines of said elec-
tion district as now established, to the place of be-
ginning.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
CHAPTER 16.

AN ACT to remit the fine of five hundred dollars
heretofore imposed upon William P. Maulsby, of
Frederick county.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the fine of five hundred dollars
heretofore imposed upon William P. Maulsby, of
Frederick county, be and the same is hereby remit-
ted.

SEC. 2, And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
