CHAPTER 295.

CHAP. 296

AN ACT to make valid a deed from Nicholas E.
Igleheart, to John Orem, all of Howard county
State of Maryland.

Passed March
5, 1860.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the deed from Nicholas E.
Igleheart, formerly of Howard county, Maryland,
to John Orem, of said county and State, erroneous,
ly, dated on the twenty-eighth day of June, eighteen
hundred and fifty, instead of the twenty-eighth
day of June, eighteen hundred and fifty-three,
and recorded on the twelfth day of July, eighteen
hundred and fifty-three, in Liber W. H. W., num-
ber thirteen, folio four hundred and seventy-four
one of the land records for Howard county, be am
the same is hereby declared to be as valid to all in
tents and purposes in law, and in equity, as if the
said deed had been correctly dated the twenty-
eighth day of June, eighteen hundred and fifty-
three.

Made valid.




SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 296.

In force.

AN ACT to amend the twenty-fourth, twenty-
fifth and thirty-fourth sections, relating to the
City of Cumberland, of the first article of the
Code of Public Local Laws.

Passed March
7, 1860.

SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the twenty-fourth, twenty-fifth
and thirty-fourth sections of the first article of the
Code of Public Local Laws, be and the same are
hereby repealed, and the following enacted as a
substitute, therefor:

Repealed.

SEC. 2. The free white male citizens of age of
twenty-one years who have resided in the city of
Cumberland one year next preceding the election,
