CHAPTER 218.

CHAP. 219.

AN ACT to amend the fourth article of the Code
of Public Local Laws, by adding thereto the
following section, relating to measuring oysters,
in the city of Baltimore:

6, 1860.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That all oysters carried to the city
of Baltimore for sale, shall be sold by the sealed
half bushel, and measured on board the boat carry-
ing the same, and each and every person offending
against the provisions of this section, shall be sub-
ject to a fine of fifty dollars for each and every
offence, to be recovered before any justice of the
peace of the city of Baltimore, by action of debt,
in the name of the State of Maryland, one-half to
the informer, and the other half for the use of the
State.

CHAPTER 219.

Oysters to be
sold by the

AN ACT to repeal the sixty-seventh section of ar-
ticle thirteenth of the Code of Public Local Laws
relating to the duties of inspectors of primary
schools in Howard county.

Passed Feb.
28, 1860.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland^ That the sixty-seventh section of ar-
ticle thirteenth of the Code of Public Local Laws
relating to the duties of the inspectors of primary
schools in Howard county, be, and the same is here-
by repealed.

Repealed.
