AN ACT appropriating a sum of money for the
payment of the claims of W. Veirs Bouic for le-
gal services rendered the State.
|

Authorised
to pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the treasurer, upon the war-
rant of the Comptroller, be, and he is hereby di-
rected, to pay to the order of W. Veirs Bouic, of
Montgomery county, the sum of two hundred dol-
lars for legal services rendered the State in arguing
before the Orphans' court of said county, the cases
of the State vs. Rhody Rickett, deceased, and John
Wilson, deceased.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to punish the shooting of foxes in Wor-
cester county.
|
|
|
Unlawful to
kill foxes
whilst pur-
sued by dogs.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That any person who shall be con-
victed of shooting any fox or foxes, whilst pursued
by dogs, in Worcester county, shall be liable to a
fine of five dollars for each and every offence, to be
recovered before any justice of the peace of said
county, as other small debts are now recoverable.
