missioners of said town.

CHAP. 201.

SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That section one hun-
dred and thirty-two, of article twenty of the Code
of Public Local Laws, be and the same is hereby
repealed, and the foregoing sections substituted
therefor, and that this act take effect from the date
of its passage.

CHAPTER 201.

Repealed.

AN ACT to allow William Thompson, of C., late
collector of taxes in the first election district of
Montgomery county, further time to complete
his collections.

Passed Feb.
29, 1860.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That from and after the passage of
this act, William Thompson, of C., late collector of
the first election district of Montgomery county, be
and he is hereby authorised and empowered, to col-
lect until the first day of January, eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-one, all sums and balances due him,
as collector of said first election district in said
county, in the same manner which the said William
Thompson, of C. could or might have done within
the time now limited by law.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the
duty of the said William Thompson, of C., before
he proceeds to execute the property of any person
or persons for taxes in virtue of this act, to deliver
to such person or persons, charged with the same,
at least thirty days previous to the laying of such
execution, a fair account in writing of the taxes de-
manded of him, her or them, and an affidavit there-
to annexed, that he hath not directly or indirectly
received any part thereof, or any thing in security
or satisfaction for the same, (more than the credits
given, if any, ) to the best of his knowledge.
