AN ACT to repeal the one hundred and eighty-
seventh section of the eleventh article of the
Code of Public Local Laws relating to summon-
ing jurors to the Circuit court for Frederick
county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the one hundred and eighty-
seventh section of the eleventh article of the Code
of Public Local Laws, which relates to summoning
jurors to the Circuit court for Frederick county, be
and the same is hereby repealed.
|
Repealed.
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

AN ACT for the benefit of Margaret Ritchie, one
of the legal representatives of Henry Gassaway,
late of Anne Arundel county, deceased.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer upon the war-
rant of the Comptroller, is hereby directed to pay
to Margaret Ritchie, one of the legal representatives
of Lavinia Gassaway, the widow of Henry Gassa-
way, late Lieutenant in the War of the Revolution,
the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars, and which
said sum of money shall be in full of all claims,
said Margaret Ritchie, as legal representative may
possess for bounty land and rations, and money ex-
pended by her father, the late Henry Gassaway, and
the pension due her mother, the late Lavinia Gassa-
way.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage.
