CHAPTER 185.

CHAP. 186.

AN ACT to make valid the devises or bequests of
Louisa Dunning, late of Talbot county, Mary-
land, deceased, to the Trustees of the Methodist
Episcopal Church of St. Michael's.

Passed Feb.
29, 1860.

WHEREAS, Louisa Dunning, late of Talbot coun-
ty, deceased, devised and bequeathed in her last
will and testament dated the thirteenth day of
September in the year eighteen hundred and fifty-
eight, one thousand dollars in bank stock to the
trustees of said church and to their successors in
office for the use and benefit of said church, and
five hundred dollars in bank stock for the use and
benefit of the sabbath school belonging or attached
to said church; therefore,

Preamble.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the leave of the Legislature
shall be and is hereby given to carry into effect the
devise or bequests of the said Louisa Dunning, late
Talbot county, deceased, in favor of the trustees of
the Methodist Episcopal church of the town of St.
Michael's, in Talbot county, and the executor of
said Louisa Dunning is hereby authorised and di-
rected to pay over the same to the said trustees
whenever he shall be by them requested.

Made valid.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 186.

AN ACT to incorporate the Old School Regular
Particular Baptist Church in the town of Salis-
bury.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Thomas Johnson, George Lowe,
Rufus Trevitt, Oliver Tilghman, Hosea Henry,
Theodore Parsons and Richard Lingmon, of Somer-
set county, Maryland, and their successors, be and
