CHAP. 121.

hereby authorised and empowered to adjust the ac-
counts of the State of Maryland against Philip G.
Love, collector of State taxes for the fourth and
fifth election districts in St. Mary's county, for the
year of eighteen hundred and fifty-nine, and to
allow as credits on the same all sums of money for
which the State's attorney for said county may
have receipted.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Slye to Thomas Barber, the name of Amelia
Slye to Amelia Barber, the name of George Hen-
ry Slye to George Henry Barber, the name of
John Gwin Slye to John Gwin Barber, the name
of Chapman Billingsley Slye to Chapman Bil-
lingsley Barber.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the name of Thomas Barber
Slye, the name of Amelia Slye, the name of George
Henry Slye, the name of John Gwin Slye and the
name of Chapman Billingsley Slye, be and is here-
by changed to the name of Thomas Barber, to the
name of Amelia Barber, to the name of George
Henry Barber, to the name of Chapman Billingsley
Barber, and to the name of John Gwin Barber.
