AN ACT to allow the Commissioners of Balti-
more county such sum as shall be necessary to
supply the office of the Register of Wills of Bal-
timore county with record books, and to levy
therefor.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the commissioners of Baltimore
county, be and they are hereby authorised to pay to
the register of wills of Baltimore county, such sum
of money, not exceeding two hundred dollars, as
shall appear to them upon exhibit of a certificate,
signed by the judges of the Orphans' court of Bal-
timore county, to have been actually paid out and
expended by the said register of wills, for the sup-
ply to his office of proper books of record, and the
said commissioners are hereby authorised to levy
for said amount.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT entitled, an act for the benefit of Henry
Hoffman, of Frederick county.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the deed executed on the first
day of December, eighteen hundred and fifty-seven,
to Henry Hoffman by George Hoffman and Caro-
line Hoffman, his wife, be and the same is hereby
made valid to all intents and purposes as though
said Henry Hoffman, had been a naturalized citi-
zen at the date of its execution.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
