To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, BERTRAM L. BOONE, II., SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE
OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
edition), DO HEREBY CERTIEY, That at an election held in the
Town of District Heights, Prince George's County, Maryland,
on May 2, 1949, an Act known as Chapter 601 of the Session
of the General Assembly of 1949, was submitted to the voters
of the Town of District Heights, for their adoption or rejec-
tion under the provisions thereof, said Act being:
An Act providing for the governmental authority of the
Town of District Heights and for the construction of
streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and storm sewers,
and for the methods of payment for same.
AND i DO CERTIFY, That at said election 150 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 601 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1949, and 140 votes were cast against
the adoption of the said Act, and a majority being cast for
the adoption of the said referred law it has therefore been
ratified by the voters.of the Town of District Heights.
