To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, BERTRAM L. BOONE, II., SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE
OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
edition) DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at an election held in Morn-
ingside Village, Prince George's County, Maryland, May 16,
1949, An Act known as Chapter 589 of the Acts of 1949, was
submitted to the voters of Morningside Village, for their
adoption or rejection under the provisions thereof, said Act
being:

An Act to incorporate the Town of Morningside Village
to provide for the government thereof.

AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 147 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 589 of the Acts of 1949,
and 94 votes were cast against the adoption of the said Act,
and a majority being cast for the adoption of the said re-
ferred law it has therefore been ratified by the voters of
Morningside Village, Prince George's County.
