approximately 380 feet north of the fence enclosing the
"County Garage and Warehouse", and running thence South
66 degrees 45 minutes East 725 feet, thence North 23 degrees
15 minutes East 680 feet, thence North 66 degrees 45 minutes
West 725 feet, thence South 23 degrees 15 minutes West 680
feet to the place of beginning, containing 12 acres more or
less.

The said County Commissioners shall advertise this said
property for public sale for such consideration and upon such
terms as they deem reasonable and shall have the right to
reject any and all bids for the same if said bids be deemed
to be insufficient. In the event that no sufficient bids are
received the said County Commissioners may withdraw said
property from said public sale and are authorized thereafter
to sell the same at private sale for a price in excess of the
highest bid submitted at said public sale.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an acute emergency law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 84
(House Bill 47)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-sec-
tion (c) of Section 197 of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Motor Ve-
hicles", sub-title "Operation of Motor Vehicles Upon High-
ways", and to add two new sub-sections to said section,
to be known as Sub-sections (d) and (e) and to follow im-
mediately after Sub-section (c), relating to the manner of
loading trucks operated on highways and the punishment
for violations of said Section 197.
