to read as follows:
7. The Comptroller shall return or cause to be re-
turned to Annapolis the Income Tax Division and the Alco-
holic Beverages Division cf his office and to require the

BEVERAGES DIVISION, AND, FOR THE INCOME
TAX DIVISION, OFFICE FACILITIES AND PERSON-
NEL SUFFICIENT TO SERVE THE CITIZENS AND
TAXPAYERS OF SOUTHERN MARYLAND AND THE
EASTERN SHORE; AND THE COMPTROLLER SHALL
REQUIRE THE employees of said Divisions to occupy
the State Office Building in Annapolis until otherwise pro-
vided by law.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1950.

(Senate Bill 72)
AN ACT to add four FIVE new sections to Article 100 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition and 1947
Supplement), title "Work—Hours of, In Factories," said
new sections to be known as Sections 79 to S2, 83, inclu-
sive, to follow immediately after Section 78 thereof, and
to be under the new sub-title "State Contracts/' relating
to the hours of work and the wages for all laborers, work-
men and mechanics employed by any contractor or sub-
contractor executing any contract for the State, or for
any department, commission, bureau or agency thereof,
for the construction of buildings, roads or bridges , AND
CREATING A COMMISSION TO ESTABLISH PRE-
VAILING WAGES WITHIN THE VARIOUS AREAS
OF THE STATE.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That four FIVE new sections be and they are hereby added
