WILD WATER FOWL REFUGE.

63. The area of land under water, and the waters there-
over, in Harford and Cecil Counties hereinafter described are
hereby designated and established as an inviolate sanctuary
and refuge for the preservation of migratory birds under the
administration and supervision of the Game and Inland Fish
Commission, or its successor, and in or on which it shall be
unlawful to hunt, pursue, catch, kill, trap or shoot, or attempt
to hunt, pursue, catch, kill, trap, or shoot in any manner any
migratory birds; provided, however, the State Game Warden,
with the approval of the Chairman of said Commission, is
hereby authorized and directed to lease at the nominal con-
sideration of One Dollar (f 1. 00) to the United States of Amer-
ica for the use of the Fish and Wildlife Service of the U. S.
Department of the Interior, said area as herein described for
a period of five years for the purpose of establishing a national
wildlife refuge thereon and for improving food conditions for
the benefit of wild water fowl on said area. Said lease shall
be renewable with the approval of the Chairman of said Com-
mission for such period or periods as may be mutually agreed
upon between the Service and the State Game Warden, pro-
vided, that any renewal thereof may be cancelled and termi-
nated upon one year's notice from either of the contracting
parties. Nothing in this Act shall be construed as in anywise
affecting the right of navigation in and over the water affected
by this Act, the said area being bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point at latitude 39° 29' 46" N., and longi-
tude 76° 05' 01" W., in Chesapeake Bay due north 200 yards
from Fishing Battery Light, thence due east 4000 yards (2. 27
miles approximate) to a point at latitude 39° 29' 46" N., and
longitude 76° 02' 28" W., approximate in Chesapeake Bay,
thence due south 416'0 yards (2. 36 miles approximate) to a
point at latitude 39° 27''43" N., and longitude 76° 02' 28" W.,
approximate in Chesapeake Bay, thence N., 62° 30' W., 2680
yards (1. 52 mile approximate) to a point at latitude 39°
28' 21" N., and longitude 76° 03' 59" W., approximate, In
Chesapeake Bay, 440 yards distant from the northeast side of
Spesutie Island at Locust Point, thence northerly and westerly
with a line 400 yards distant from the north shore of Spesutie
Island to a point at latitude 39° 28' 48" 1ST., and longitude 76°
05' 48" W., approximate opposite the center of Spesutie Nar-
rows, thence due north 1960 yards (1. 11 miles approximate) to
a point at latitude 39° 29' 46" N., and longitude 76° 05' 48"
W., approximate in Chesapeake Bay, thence due east 1230
yards (0. 76* mile approximate) to the place of beginning con-
taining 2900 acres be the same more or less.
