tions", be, and the same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That Sections 70 and 71
of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County", sub-title "Building
Regulations", be, and the same are hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
70. That no permit for the construction or erection of any
building or structure of any kind in Baltimore County shall
be granted unless adequate provision is made for the disposing
of the waste, sewage and drainage from such building or
structure, and plans thereof presented for the inspection of
the Buildings Engineer and the Secretary of the local Board of
Health of Baltimore County and approved by them.
71. That in all buildings so erected provision shall be made
for disposing of the waste, sewage and drainage therefrom in
accordance with the plans furnished as required by Section
Seventy of this Act, and such arrangements shall be installed
under the supervision of the Buildings Engineer.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That if any provision of
this Act, or the application thereof to any person or circum-
stances, is held invalid, the remainder of this Act and the ap-
plication of such provisions to other persons and circum-
stances shall not be affected thereby. If any provision, clause,
sentence, or section of this Act shall be declared to be invalid
or in violation of any provision of the State or Federal Con-
stitution, the remainder of said Act shall stand and be effective
notwithstanding.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

Arundel County", said new section to be under sub-title
"Fire Companies", to be known as Section 280, and to fol-

izing volunteer fire companies of Anne Arundel County to
