WHEREAS, Section 24 of Article 19, making it the duty of the
Comptroller to see that the provisions requiring the publica-
tion by banks of unclaimed dividends and deposits, is no longer
applicable, since there is no law requiring such publication by
banks; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 24 of Article 19 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Comptroller", be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And "be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 9.

(Senate Bill 4)

AN ACT to repeal Section 51 of Article 100 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Work—Hours of,
in Factories", sub-title "Employment of Minors", authorizing
the Commissioner of Labor and Statistics to appoint in-
spectors.

WHEREAS, the provisions of Section 51 of Article 100 have
been superseded by Section 1 of Article 89 of the Code; there-
fore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land., That Section 51 of Article 100 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Work — Hours of, in Fac-
tories", sub-title "Employment of Minors", be and it is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
