10 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 12

WHEREAS, Sections 23, 25, 29 and 31 of Article 95 relate to
investments for the state sinking funds; and

WHEREAS, the State now issues serial bonds and no longer
has any sinking funds, so that the above sections are no longer
applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 23, 25, 29 and 31 of Article 95 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Treasurer", be
and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

Approved February 17, 1943.

CHAPTER 11.

(Senate Bill 6)

AN ACT to repeal Section 2'6 of Article 20 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Constables", sub
title "Police Duties of Constables", said section relating to
the inspection of measures by constables.

WHEREAS, the provisions of this section are not applicable
at the present time; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 26 of Article 20 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Constables", sub-title "Police
Duties of Constables", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

Approved February 12, 1943.

CHAPTER 12.

(Senate Bill 8)

AN ACT to repeal. Section 170 of Article 23 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Corporations", sub-
title "Building or Homestead Associations".
