WHEREAS, Sections 31-34, inclusive, of Article 19 are no
longer applicable, since the State does not have any sinking
funds; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 31-34, inclusive, of Article 19 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Comptroller",
be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

Approved February 17, 1943.

CHAPTER 7.

(Senate Bill 2)

AN ACT to repeal Section 30 of Article 19 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Comptroller", said
section relating to claims of State's Attorneys.

WHEREAS, the provisions of Section 30 of Article 19, re-
lating to claims of State's Attorneys, are no longer applicable,
since the adoption of the Budget Amendment; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 30 of Article 19 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Comptroller", be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

Approved February 17, 1943.

CHAPTER 8.
(Senate Bill 3)

AN ACT to repeal Section 24 of Article 19 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Comptroller", said
section relating to the publication by banks of unclaimed
dividends and deposits.
