WHEREAS, Sections 47 to 51, inclusive, of Article 81 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), enacted by
Chapter 387 of the Acts of 1935, were enacted to grant tem-
porary relief in the payment of delinquent taxes and have no
further application; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by tine General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 47 to 51, inclusive, of Article 81 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Revenue
and Taxes", sub-title "When Taxes Are Payable", be and they
are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 5.

(House Bill 9)

AN ACT to repeal Section 62 of Article 17 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Clerks of Courts",
said section relating to the tax on official commissions of
Clerks of the Circuit Courts of the several counties.

WHEREAS, Section 62 of Article 17 is no longer applicable,
since the repeal of the tax on all official commissions by Chap-
ter 36 of the Acts of 1941; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 62 of Article 17 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Clerks of Courts", be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
