appropriate, against property, assets or credits in the name of,
or belonging to such corporation, without the necessity of any
notice to any officer, director, or resident agent of such
corporation.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

(House Bill 560)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 93 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Testamentary Law",
; sub-title "Guardian and Ward", said new section to be known
; as Section 161A, to follow immediately after Section 161 of
; said Article, relating to the custody of certain jewelry, gems
and precious stones, under certain conditions.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Testamentary Law", sub-title "Guardian and Ward", said
new section to be known as Section 161 A, to follow immediately
after Section 161 of said Article and to read as follows:
161A. Whenever any executor or administrator is ready to
distribute or deliver any jewelry, gems or precious stones, of
a type or character which are ordinarily worn about the per-
son, and there is no guardian of the person entitled, who is
under age, the several Orphans' Courts of this State may order
that such jewelry, gems or precious stones shall be delivered
to the Register of Wills to be by him deposited with a bank,
trust or safe deposit company, subject, however, to the order
of such Court, where it shall remain until such person becomes
of age to receive it, or a guardian be appointed, and such order
shall be a release to such executor or administrator.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
