CHAPTER 556.
(House Bill 5(56')

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 5 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert
County", to be under a new sub-title "Schools", said new
section to be known as Section 280A, and to follow immedi-
ately after Section 280 of said Article, providing for tempo-
rary increases in the compensation of certain teachers, prin-
cipals, supervisors and attendance officers in the public
schools of Calvert County and directing the County Commis-
sioners of said County to appropriate and levy sufficient
funds to pay for the same.

CHAPTER 557.
(House Bill 559)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 23 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Corporations", sub-
title "Dissolution", said new section to be, known as Section
100A and to follow immediately after Section 100 of said
Article, relating to procedure under certain conditions
against property, assets of corporation which has been dis-
solved.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
23 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Corporations", sub-title "Dissolution", said new section to
be known as Section 100A, to follow immediately after Section
100 of said Article and to read as follows:

100A. Whenever it shall appear that there is a valid and
subsisting judgment or decree of a court of competent jurisdic-
tion in this State against any corporation which has been dis-
solved by forfeiture of its charter or otherwise, after the rendi-
tion of said judgment or decree, and it shall further appear
that, by reason of a failure to make returns to the State Tax
Commission of Maryland for a period of more than three years,
the identity or residence of its officers, resident agent, and
members of its board of directors is unknown or uncertain,
it shall be lawful and proper to enforce such judgment or
decree by any process or procedure which may be otherwise
