CHAPTER 536.
(House Bill 471)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
41 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Regula-
tions and Restrictions", making applicable to Frederick
County the provision making it a crime in Washington
County for a minor to purchase, or to misrepresent his age
for the purpose of procuring, any alcoholic beverage, and
increasing the fine which may be imposed under said pro-
vision.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 41 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-
title "Regulations and Restrictions", be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

41. Any minor who purchases, or misrepresents his or her
age for the purpose of procuring, any alcoholic beverage in
Washington and Frederick Counties is guilty of a misde-
meanor and shall be punished, upon conviction, by a trial
magistrate, by a fine not to exceed fifty dollars (|50. 00).

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 537.
(House Bill 473)

AN ACT to add a new sub-title and ten new1 sections to Ar-
ticle 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Harford County", sub-title "Bel Air", said
new sub-title to be known as "Bel Air Water Supply"
and said new sections to be known as Sections 139A, 139B,
139C, 139D, 139E, 139F, 139G, 139H, 139-1, and 139J, and
to follow Section 139 of said Article as codified in Higin-
bothom's Code of Harford County; said new sub-sections to
authorize and empower The Commissioners of Bel Air to
acquire and take over, by purchase or condemnation, the
water system of The Maryland Water Works Company, its
successors and assigns, including therewith its real and
