520B. The County Commissioners of Baltimore County are
authorized and empowered to establish and maintain, in con-
nection with its general system of pensions and retirements, a
general system of allowances and payments to be made to the
beneficiaries and dependents of its officers, agents, servants
and employees who may be members of the general pension
and retirement system, after the death of such officers, agents,
servants and employees, whether said death be accidental or
otherwise and whether or not it occurs in the actual per-
formance of duty or otherwise, with full power in the County
Commissioners to make such exceptions, exclusions, limita-
tions and restrictions as to it may seem expedient and ad-
visable.
520C. The County Commissioners of Baltimore County are
authorized and empowered to employ such person or persons
as it deems necessary to advise and to assist in the prepara-
tion of systems under Sections 520A and 520B, which will
operate on a sound actuarial basis, and to expend such monies
for said services as it shall deem reasonable and proper.
520D. The County Commissioners of Baltimore County
shall have power to employ or authorize the employment of
such officials, actuaries, stenographers, secretaries, or other
assistants necessary, in their opinion, for the proper adminis-
tration of any pension system adopted under the authority of
Sections 520A and 520B, and to pay or provide for the payment
of salary and expenses incurred in connection therewith.
520E. The County Commissioners of Baltimore County are
authorized and empowered to levy such taxes as may be neces-
sary to pay for the establishment and maintenance of any pen-
sion plan pursuant to the provisions of Sections 520A to 520D,
inclusive.
SEC. 2. And lie it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
