the limits of said county, every person sentenced thereto by
the Circuit Court for Calvert County, or by any justice of the
peace for said county.

The Sheriff of Calvert County shall be entitled to charge
and receive the sum of three dollars for his attendance at each
case before a Justice of the Peace in said County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the im-
mediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of
the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date
of its passage.

CHAPTER 470.
(House Bill 564)

AN ACT to repeal Sub-section (b) of Section 804 and Section
805B of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Washington County", sub-title
"County Treasurer", as said Sub-section (b) of Section 804
was amended, and said Section 805B was enacted, by Chap-
ter 402 of the Acts of 1941, eliminating the provisions for the
retention of the salary of the County Treasurer of Washing-
ton County until delinquent taxes are collected or declared
uncollectible, and eliminating the provision for the office
hours of said County Treasurer.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sub-section (b) of Section 804 and Section 805B
of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Washington County" sub-title "County
Treasurer", as said Sub-section (b) of Section 804 was amended
and said Section 805B was enacted by Chapter 402 of the Acts
of 1941, be and they are hereby repealed.
