ated on the West side of Livingston Road in Oxon Hill Dis-
trict, Prince George's County, Maryland, being the same prop-
erty conveyed to the Washington Heights Realty Corporation,
and a part of which has been sub-divided and is known as
"Forest Heights"; said property now adjoining on the North,
the present outline of the Washington Suburban Sanitary
District.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
281 of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), as said section was amended by Chap-
ter 337 of the Acts of 1933 and by Chapter 423 of the Acts
of 1939, title "Calvert County", sub-title "Sheriff", increasing
the sum payable to the Sheriff of Calvert County for keep-
ing and boarding prisoners in the jail of said County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 281 of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), as said section was amend-
ed by Chapter 337 of the Acts of 1933 and by Chapter 423 of
the Acts of 1939, title "Calvert County", sub-title "Sheriff",
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to. read as follows:
281. The Sheriff of Calvert County shall receive a sum of
money not to exceed seventy-five cents a day for keeping and
boarding each prisoner in the county jail and shall also
receive twenty-five dollars, for conveying to the State Peni-
tentiary or to any other place of punishment situated beyond
