CHAPTER 466.
(House Bill 550)

AN ACT to legalize the 1943 Edition of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Prince George's County, being Article 17 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, compiled and
edited by Horace E. Flack.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's
County, being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, compiled and edited by Horace E. Flack, be and the
same is hereby legalized, and shall be deemed and taken in
all the courts of the State, and by all Justices of the Peace of
the State, and by all public officials of the State, to be evidence
of the Public Local Laws of Prince George's County, in exist-
ence at the time of compilation; provided, that before the said
1943 Edition is published, all Public Local Laws enacted by the
General Assembly of Maryland at its session in 1943, relating
to Prince George's County, shall be incorporated therein.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners

of Prince George's County to levy a sum of money for the

compilation and publication of the Public Local Laws of

•Prince George's County and to authorize the said County

Commissioners to sell copies thereof.

WHEREAS, due to the many amendments to the Local Laws
of Prince George's County and the enactment of new laws re-
lating to said County, there is a great need for a new edition
of the Local Laws of said County; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Prince George's
County be and they are hereby authorized and directed to ap-
propriate and include in their next levy after the passage of
