Hagerstown Or the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore acting
through its Comptroller with the consent of the Board of Fi-
nance Commissioners,, may in their discretion sell the same at
public or private sale for the highest amount they can obtain
therefor. In the event of a sale, either public or private, a
deed of conveyance shall be executed by the County Commis-
sioners, the Mayor and Council of Hagerstown or in Baltimore
City by the Board of Finance Commissioners, to the purchaser
upon receiving the full amount of the purchase price; thereupon
the County Commissioners, the Mayor and Council of Hagers-
town or the Comptroller of the City of Baltimore shall pay over
to the Collector the amount of taxes, together with all interest
and charges due and chargeable on said property, and any
balance that may be left after paying the costs and expenses
incurred in the purchase and sale of said property, shall pass
into the general treasury of the County, City of Hagerstown
or City of Baltimore for the general uses thereof.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

AN ACT to repeal Section 805A of Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wash-
ington County", sub-title "Tax Collector", as said section
was enacted by Chapter 450 of the Acts of 1933, relating to
limitation for the collection of taxes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 805A of Article 22 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washington
County", sub-title "Tax Collector", as said section was enacted
by Chapter 450 of the Acts of 1933, be and it is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
