nation thereof, thence due west to the Maryland-Virginia
Boundary Line, thence along and with the Maryland-Virginia
Boundary Line to a point on the said Maryland-Virginia
Boundary Line directly opposite the mouth of Cabin John
Creek, thence northward along the center of Cabin John Creek
to the northern boundary of MacArthur Boulevard, thence
eastward along MacArthur Boulevard to the western boundary
of Wilson Lane, thence along Wilson Lane to the point of be-
ginning.

The County Commissioners of Montgomery County are
hereby authorized, directed and empowered to levy annually
against all the assessable real property, within the above de-
scribed area, a tax sufficient, but not to exceed ten (10) cents
on each One Hundred ($100. 00) Dollars of real assessable
property, to pay the annual requirements of expenditures
necessary to maintain and operate the said fire department,
now known as Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire Department,
Inc. ? its successor or successors, including payment of encum-
brances on real estate or equipment owned by said Cabin John
Park Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., its successor or suc-
cessors. The said tax shall be determined, levied, collected
and paid over in the following manner:. At least thirty (30)
days before the tax levying period of each year the County
Commissioners of said County shall certify to the Cabin John
Park Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., its successor or suc-
cessors, the whole valuation of assessable real property within
said area and the Fire Board, its successor or successors here-
inafter created shall then determine the amount necessary to
to be raised for the ensuing year to maintain and operate the
said Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., its
successor or successors, including payment in whole or in
part of any existing encumbrance, and then after determining
the number of cents per. One Hundred (f 100. 00) Dollars of
said assessed valuation necessary to raise the required amount
for the ensuing year, so certify to the Board of County Com-
missioners. The County Commissioners in their next annual
levy shall levy said tax not in excess of ten (10) cents on each
One Hundred (f 100. 00) Dollars of assessable property on all
land and improvements within said area assessed for the
county tax purposes, which tax shall be levied and collected,
and have the same priority rights, bear the same interest and
penalties and in every respect be treated the same as County
taxes, but not to exceed the rate hereinabove provided.

The taxes so levied for the ensuing year shall be collected by
the tax collecting authorities for said county and every sixty
(60) days they shall remit the whole amount of taxes so col-
lected to the Treasurer of said Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire
Department, Inc., its successor or successors, upon the said
