CHAPTER 458.
(House Bill 472)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments. Section
383 of Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Kent County", sub-title
"State's Attorney", increasing the salary of the State's
Attorney of Kent County.

SECTION 1. Be It enacted "by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 383 of Article 15 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Kent County",
sub-title "State's Attorney", be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

383. The salary of the State's Attorney for Kent County,
State of Maryland, shall be at the rate of sixteen hundred
dollars (f. 1, 600. 00) per annum, in lieu of fees.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 459.
(House Bill 479)

AN ACT to establish a Fire District in Montgomery County
and to levy taxes to provide funds for the Cabin John Park
Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., its successor or succes-
sors, and relating to the creation of a Fire Board.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That for the purpose of providing funds with which to
maintain and operate a fire department within certain parts
of Montgomery County, particularly designated and described
and lying and being in the bounds, courses and distances as
follows, to wit:

Beginning at the intersection of Wilson Lane and River
Road and running thence in a northwesterly direction along
the center of River Road to the center of the intersection of
River Road and the Great Falls-Potomac Road, thence south-
westerly along the center of the Great Falls-Potomac Road to
the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard, thence north-
westerly along the center of MacArthur Boulevard to the termi-
