CHAPTER 61.
(Senate Bill 130)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 23 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 edition), title "Corpora-
tions", sub-title "Miscellaneous Provisions", said new
section to be known as Section 127A, to follow imme-
diately after Section 127, fixing the fees and charges
for certified copies of papers recorded by the State Tax
Commission, and for authentication of the same by the
Secretary of State.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and the same is hereby
added to Article 23 of the Code, title "Corporations", sub-
title "Miscellaneous Provisions", said new section to be
known as Section 127A, to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 127, and to read as follows:
127A. The State Tax Commission shall collect a fee of
one dollar ($1. 00) for the certification of any paper re-
corded in its office, when a copy thereof is furnished to
said Commission for certification, and in addition thereto
a charge of 50$ per page when no copy is furnished.
A copy certified by the State Tax Commission may be
authenticated under the Great Seal of the State for a fee
of one dollar ($1. 00) upon application to the Secretary
of State.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 62.
(House Bill 106) •
AH ACT to authorize and empower the County Commission-
ers of Montgomery County, acting through the Board of
County Commissioners, to designate^ certain areas in the
fifth, seventh, tenth and thirteenth election districts of
Montgomery County as Special Suburban Improvement Dis-
tricts, in which the County Commissioners of Montgomery
County shall have the power to install streets, sidewalks,
street and highway paving and street lighting, and to main-
