CHAPTER 439.
(Senate Bill 354)
AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Montgomery County (1939 Edition), the same
being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Montgomery County",
sub-titled "Rockville", said new section to be known as
Section 905-C, to follow immediately after Section 905-B
of said Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery
County; to extend the boundaries of the Town of Rock-
ville in Montgomery County, and to exclude such terri-
tory so included within the Town of Rockyille from the
Maryland-Washington Metropolitan District, from the
Maryland-Washington Regional District, and from the
jurisdiction of the Maryland-National Capital Park and
Planning Commission and the ordinances thereof, and to
exempt the lands therein from taxes hereafter to be
levied for the purposes of said Metropolitan and Regional
Districts.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be, and hereby is, added to
the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County
(1939 Edition), the same being Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), titled
"Montgomery County", sub-titled "Rockville", said section
to be known as Section 905-C to follow immediately after
Section 905-B of said Code of Public Local Laws of Mont-
gomery County and to read as follows:
905-C. The boundaries of the town of Rockville are
hereby extended to include the following area, which is
added to said Town: Beginning for the same at the be-
ginning point of the original corporate limits of Rock-
ville, said point being on the southwest line of the Wash-
ington-Rockville Road, and running thence with the south-
west line of the Washington-Rockville Road in a south-
easterly direction to a corner of the lands of the Rockville
Volunteer Fire Department and the lands of Fannie K.
Dawson; thence still with said southwest line of said
Washington-Rockville Road thirty feet to include a right
of way thirty feet wide and parallel to the lands of said
Rockville Volunteer Fire Department; thence parallel to
and with the southeast line extended of said right of way
in a southwesterly direction to intersect the property line
of the land of the Montgomery County Board of Educa-
tion; thence in a straight line in a westerly direction to
