(e) of Section 5 of Article 95A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Ed. ) as amended by Chapters 17 and 385
of the Acts of 1941, title "Unemployment Compensation, "
sub-title "Disqualification for Benefits, " be, and the same
is hereby repealed and that a new sub-section be and it is
hereby added in lieu thereof, said sub-section to be known
as sub-section (e) of Section 5; That sub-section (b) of
Section 8 of Article 95A of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1939 Ed, ) as amended by Chapters 17 and 385 of the
Acts of 1941, title "Unemployment Compensation, " sub-
title "Period, Election, and Termination of Employer's
Coverage, " be, and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments; That sub-section (b) of Sec-
tion 14 of Article 95A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Ed. ) as amended by Chapters 17 and 385 of the Acts
of 1941, title "Unemployment Compensation, " sub-title
"Collection of Contributions, " sub-title "Refunds, " be, and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, and all to read as follows:
BENEFITS
3. (b) (1) Weekly Benefit Amount.
An individual's "weekly benefit amount" shall be the
same amount appearing in Column B in the table in this
sub-section on the line on which, in Column A of such
table, there appear the total wages paid to such individual
for insured work in that calendar quarter of his base period
in which such total wages were highest.
