SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That Sub-section (e) of
Section 174A of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel County",
sub-title "Budget", as said section was enacted by Chapter 185
of the Acts of 1939, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
174A. (e) The Supervisor shall receive an annual salary
as fixed in the Budget of not less than Thirty-six Hundred
Dollars (f3, 600. 00), nor more than Four Thousand Dollars
(|4, 000. 00), payable in equal semi-monthly installments and
shall receive no other fees or compensation whatsoever.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

(House Bill 522)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 409
of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title
"Roads", relating to the duties of the County Commissioners
of Anne Arundel County as a Road Board, and providing
for reimbursement of personal expenses of Road Adminis-
tration.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 409 of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel
County", sub-title "Roads", be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
409. The County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County
are authorized and empowered to control and regulate the pub-
lic roads and bridges in said County, subject to the provisions
of this Act; they shall sit as a Road Board once in each month,
and oftener if deemed by them necessary to the public interests,
for the consideration and determination of matters relating
to County roads and bridges; and at such meetings each County
