CHAPTER 351.
(House Bill 354)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince
George's County", sub-title "Trailer Camps", said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 983W, and to follow immediately
after Section 983V of said Article, relating to the estab-
lishment and regulations of trailer camps, and providing
for the registration of the names and addresses of owners
and the tag numbers of motor vehicles and trailer coaches in
trailer camps in Prince George's County, and providing pen-
alties for violations of such regulations.

SECTION 1. Be It enacted, by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be, and it is hereby, added to Article
17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Prince George's County", sub-title "Trailer Camps",
; said new section to be known as Section 983W and to follow
immediately after Section 983V of said Article, and to read
as follows:

983W. The Board of County Commissioners of Prince
George's County, Maryland, are hereby authorized and em-
powered to enact ordinances requiring and regulating the
registration in the trailer camps of the names and addresses
of owners of motor vehicles and trailer coaches and the regis-
tration of the tag numbers, including number of tag and State
issuing the same, and the registration of other reasonable
information as to and pertaining to visitors, guests, users or
occupants of trailer camps, and their motor vehicles and trailer
coaches. The violation of any of the provisions of such ordi-
nance or ordinances shall be considered a misdemeanor, and
upon conviction thereof before a trial magistrate of said
county, or other competent court, the offender shall be subject
to a fine of not exceeding $25. 00 for each offense and in default
of payment of the fine, to imprisonment for not exceeding 25
days.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
