70. (321) For all other services he is called upon to ren-
der, except in the instance of representing the City as Plain-
tiff or Defendant in all court cases, for which services he will
be entitled to separate remuneration, in behalf of the Mayor
and City Council and the Municipal Utilities Commission, the
City Attorney shall receive an annual salary of Six Hundred
(1600. 00) Dollars.

99. (349) The said Municipal Utilities Commission shall
consist of three persons who shall not be less than thirty years
of age and who are citizens and taxpayers of the City of Havre
de Grace; and the said persons, hereinafter called Commission-
ers, shall be appointed by the Mayor, by and with the consent of
the City Council. The Chairman of the Commission shall
receive Three Hundred ($300. 00) Dollars and each of the other
members Two Hundred ($200. 00) Dollars annually as com-
pensation for their services.

101. (351) Successors to the present Commissioners whose
terms either have expired or will expire on the first Monday of
June in the years 1944, 1946 and 1948, shall be appointed by
the Mayor with the consent of the City Council for a term
of six years, and thereafter at the expiration of the term of
any Commissioner, his successor shall be appointed for four
more years.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

(House Bill 227)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 211, 212, 213, 214, 215 and 216 of
Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Harford County", sub-title "County Commissioners",
as the same are contained in Higinbothom's codification of
said Article 13 under the title "County Commissioners", as
Sections 188, 189, 190, 191, 192 and 193, which Code is being
legalized by the 1943 Session of the Legislature, and to re-
enact in lieu thereof one new Section to said Higinbothom's
Code of said Article 13, to be known as Section 188; providing
for the election of a Board of three County Commissioners for
Harford County and fixing and defining their powers, duties,
term of office and salary; also providing that the question as
