CHAPTER 273.
(Senate Bill 304)

AN ACT to repeal Section 174 of Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Anne Arundel County, " sub-title "Brooklyn, " requir-
ing the Brooklyn and Curtis Bay Light and Water Com-
pany to install certain water mains and pipes before
November, 1914;

WHEREAS, the provisions of this Section are no longer
applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 174 of Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne
Arundel County, " sub-title "Brooklyn, " be and it is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Approved March 31, 1943.

CHAPTER 274.
(Senate Bill 305)

AN ACT to repeal Section 255 of Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Anne Arundel County", sub-title "Cruelty to Animals",
relating to bear baiting or bull fighting.

WHEREAS, the provisions of this section seem no longer
. applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 255 of Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne
Arundel County", sub-title "Cruelty to Animals", be and
it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Approved March 31, 1943.
