CHAPTER 275.
(Senate Bill 306)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 159-168, inclusive, of Article 2
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title "Bridges",
relating to the use or construction of bridges.

WHEREAS, the provisions of these sections no longer have
any application or the work authorized to be done has al-
ready been done, thereby rendering them unnecessary;
therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 159-168, inclusive, of Article 2 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title "Bridges", be and
they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 276.
(House Bill 200)

AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council of Cumber-
land, Maryland, to issue coupon bonds in the amount of One
Hundred Fifty Thousand (f 150, 000. 00) Dollars, and to pro
vide for the payment of the interest thereon and the principal
thereof at maturity, to be known as the "Cumberland Air-
port Bonds of 1943, " and to provide that the proceeds from
the sale of said bonds shall be used toward the acquisition
of land and the construction of an Airport thereon and the
payment of any expenses incident thereto, and to repeal all
Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of
this Act*

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland, Mary-
land, be and is hereby authorized and empowered to issue
bonds in the amount of One Hundred Fifty Thousand (|150, -
000. 00) Dollars, payable serially and in such amounts annually
as the said Mayor and City Council shall by ordinance deter-
