CHAPTER 265.
(Senate Bill 233)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 966 to 968, inclusive, of Article
4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland and
Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore
City", sub-title "New Station Houses", relating to the
purchase of ground for and erection of certain station
houses.

Whereas, it is now the duty of the Public Improvement
Commission of Baltimore City to supervise the construc-
tion of all new public buildings in the City; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 966 to 968, inclusive, of Article
4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland and Balti-
more City Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City",
sub-title "New Station Houses", be and they are hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 266.

AN ACT to repeal Section 926 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland and Charter of Balti-
more City (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City, " sub-
title "Militia, " relating to the calling out of the militia
by the Police Commissioner of Baltimore City and the
Sheriffs of the several counties.

Whereas, the provisions of this Section were enacted by
Chapter 182 of the Acts of 1870, which have been super-
seded by the revised National Guard Act of Maryland and
are hence no longer applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 926 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland and Charter of Baltimore
City (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City, " sub-title
"Militia, " be and it is hereby repealed.
