CHAPTER 263.
(Senate Bill 231)

AN ACT to repeal Section 961 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter (1938
Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Long Bridge'',
conferring jurisdiction on the Police Commissioner over
said Bridge.

Whereas, this bridge is entirely within the limits of the
City of Baltimore at the present time, thereby making the
provisions of this section unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 961 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edi-
tion), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Long Bridge", be
and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 264.
(Senate Bill 232)

AN ACT to repeal Section 936 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter (1938
Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Registration
of Voters", said section relating to detail of police to
preserve order at places of registration.

Whereas, the provisions of this section are no longer
necessary under the permanent registration law; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 936 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edi-
tion), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Registration of
Voters", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.
