SECTION 1. Be it enacted Toy the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the purchase by, and the grant and deed to The
Commissioners of Queenstown, a municipal corporation, from
The Queenstown Community Club, a body corporate, of the
"Queen Theatre Property" located in the town of Queenstown,
Queen Anne's County, State of Maryland, on the west side of
Main Street, bounded by the Methodist Church Property on
the north, the property of Annie Morris on the south, and the
property of John and Jesse Bishop on the west, being the same
property conveyed to The Commissioners of Queenstown by
The Queenstown Community Club by deed dated July 23rd,
1932, and which deed is recorded among the land records of
Queen Anne's County in Liber B. H. T. No. 15, folio 67, etc.,,
be and it is hereby ratified, confirmed and validated.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That The Commissioners;
of Queenstown, a municipal corporation, be and it is hereby
authorized and empowered to sell, dispose of, grant, convey
and deed the said "Queen Theatre Property" at such time and
for such consideration as in the discretion of The Commis-
sioners of Queenstown shall appear proper, together with the
buildings and improvements thereon and all rights, roads,
ways, waters, privileges, appurtenances and advantages
thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining; and The Com-
missioners of Queenstown are hereby authorized and em-
powered to apply the proceeds of such sale to the payment and]
retirement of the water bonds issued by said municipality,
and it shall not be incumbent on any purchaser of said prop-
erty to see to the application of the purchase money.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the im-
mediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of
the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date
of its passage.
