244 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 234

WHEREAS, the provisions of this Section have been super-
ceded by the Public Service Commission law of Maryland;
therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted 'by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 981 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition), title "Balti-
more City", sub-title "Street Railway Fares", be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

Approved March 29, 1943.

CHAPTER 233.
(House Bill 256)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 645-647 of Article 4 of the Code
of Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter (1938
Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Gas Meters",
said Sections relating to the use and inspection of gas meters.

WHEREAS, the provisions of these Sections have been super-
ceded by the Public Service Commission law of Maryland;
therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 645-647 of Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition), title
"Baltimore City", sub-title "Gas Meters", be and they are
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
