WHEREAS, the provisions of these Sections have been super-
ceded by the Public Service Commission law of Maryland;
therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 553 and 554 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition )7
title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Gas Companies", be and
they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 235.
(House Bill 258)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 824 to 839, inclusive, of Article 4
of the Code of Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Char-
ter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Mar-
kets", said sections relating to the acquisition of property
for markets and the sale of produce, etc., in said markets.

WHEREAS, the provisions of these Sections are no longer
applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 824 to 839, inclusive, of Articled of the
Code of Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter (1938
Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Markets", be and
they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
