CHAPTER 221.
(House Bill 394)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 62-65, inclusive, of Article 14 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Howard County", sub-title "County Commissioners and
County Collectors", said sections relating to collection dis-
tricts in Howard County.

WHEREAS, the provisions of these sections have been super-
seded by later legislation and are no longer applicable; there-
fore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 62-65, inclusive, of Article 14 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "How-
ard County", sub-title "County Commissioners and County
Collectors", be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it -further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

Approved March 29, 1943.

CHAPTER 222.
(House Bill 397)

AN ACT to repeal Section 295 of Article 14 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "How-
ard County", sub-title "Sheriff", relating to hangings by the
Sheriff of Howard County.

WHEREAS, hangings now take place in the State Peniten-
tiary, thereby making the provisions of this section inopera-
tive; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 295 of Article 14 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Howard
County", sub-title "Sheriff", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943
