CHAPTER 223.
(House Bill 409)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot
County", sub-title "Easton", said new section to be known
as Section 162A and to follow immediately after Section 1$2
of said Article, to authorize the Mayor and Council of Easton
to provide for permits for the trimming of trees in said town.

(House Bill 300)

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 318 of the Laws of Maryland of
1937, as the same is codified as Section 1032 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County (1939 Edi-
tion), title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Sheriff",, pro-
viding for the appointment of deputy sheriffs and fixing
their compensation and allowances.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 318 of the Laws of Maryland of 1937, as
the same is codified as Section 1032 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Montgomery County (1939 Edition), title
^Montgomery County", sub-title "Sheriff", be and the same is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.
