known as Sub-section (h), to follow immediately after
Sub-section (g) of said Section, and to read as follows:

3. (h) The members of the Boards of Supervisors of
Elections of Harford and Worcester Counties shall re-
ceive an annual salary of Three Hundred Dollars ($300. 00)
each, payable quarterly by the County Commissioners of
said Counties and they shall not receive any other com-
pensation, emolument, pay or recompense of any kind what-
soever for their services, including services rendered under
Section 240 of this Article; provided, however, that in the
event of special elections or special services rendered, the
said County Commissioners shall allow such additional
compensation as said Commissioners may deem commensu-
rate with such special services rendered. The Board of
Election Supervisors of said Counties may employ a mem-
ber of the Bar of the Court of Appeals of the State of
Maryland, resident of said respective Counties, and may
also employ a clerk, each of whom shall be paid for his
services an annual salary of Three Hundred Dollars
($300. 00), payable by said County Commissioners in quar-
terly instalments; together with such additional compensa-
tion as said Commissioners may deem commensurate with
any special services rendered.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 181.
(Senate Bill 271)

AN ACT to authorize and empower The Mayor and Coun-
cil of Easton, Maryland, to purchase and to pay for lands,
easements, rights of way or other rights appurtenant
to said lands or necessary to the full enjoyment thereof,
and to construct and maintain a building or buildings
thereon, the same to be owned by said body corporate as
tenant in common with the County Commissioners of
Talbot County, and to be used and maintained as an
Airport as provided for in Article 1A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, and to pay or expend a sum not ex-
ceeding Twenty-five Thousand ($25, 000. 00) as a capital
expenditure therefor.
